Power of the mind: Think yourself thin

In The News: You’ve heard “Think yourself thin, you’ll become thin”. A 10 year research was concluded that if you think yourself as fat, there’s a good chance that you’ll become fat. Negative self image has been linked to obesity. A study where nearly 60% of boys and girls who felt fat as teenagers, became overweight as adults due to a psycho social stress due to having to look a certain way. I think that we should encourage our kids to take part in some sort of sport or activity and to do it as a family. By getting the whole family involved it’s a great way to create some bonding/fellowship time together a build a tight knit healthier family!
